Some of the artists Maxine
features at her gallery:

Patricia Phillips:
Pat has just returned from a successful exhibit of new work in New York. Her work is unique--she describes her work as wood, wall sculpture with color via encaustics, a pigmented wax process.

Rolland Day:
Rolland's contemporary and religious renderings are done with oils and gouache. The ideas of his creative and unusual works are sparked by his intense study of the Masters.

Holly Collins:
Holly's work is inspired by simple horizons against a changing sky. Her work is about color and light as revealed by drawing through gouache and acrylic pigments.

Tally Witcoski:
Tally's work is bold and expresses his love for Matisse and the people, places and environment in oils, acrylics and watercolor.

Eileen Konecsni:
Eileen contemporary, two-dimensional renderings rejoice in bold color, form and design.

Alice Weidenbusch:
Alice, a published watercolorist, has works from realistic to abstract. Nature inspires her transparent, dazzling luminous interpretations. She has accumulated many awards.

Susan Myers:
Susan's work is a synthesis of who she is at the moment. The thread that constantly connects her work is an ongoing interest in the dreamlike space that reflects the way she perceives the world. She is currently exploring fruit and the relationship we share with their interiors and edges. Her shadows take on a life of their own, emphasizing the tension of space where the fruit seems to teeter on the edge between the real and the surreal.

Manuel Chavez:
Manny is a photographer who has recently began to show his work as fine art. His photos of local places, plants and nature are striking. Manny has a photo of Elvis Presley at his August 28, 1977 concert in Houston.  Elvis is giving a one-finger salute to a fan who shouted an insult about his weight. Elvis died a year later, Aug. 16, 1977. While this photograph is not for sale, the negative is. The price is negotiable.
